Oh the cheeky postman: the short shorts, the cheery wink. Boy did he used to deliver. He brought the feeling of mystery and anticipation… you get that when you see a buff hand addressed envelope don’t you?
Like many a classic fantasy this one just isn’t living up to modern day realities. You need a postman who can keep up with a life that drags you to the Phnom Penh office for a three month project, a heli-ski season in Jackson Hole, or a monastery in Tibet for six weeks meditating on your ex world peace. In the 21st Century Mr Postman just seems a little too analog.
