Danny: Come on, Sandy, what’s the matter with you? I thought I meant something to you!
Sandy: Meant something to you! You think I’m going to stay here with you in this? This sin wagon? You can take this piece of tin!
Danny: Sandy, you just can’t walk out of a drive-in! (Cue music)
Cosy DVD nights on the couch every Saturday evening are getting old. As are same-same movie dates where the high backed chairs just don’t lend themselves to the fake yawn/ arm over her shoulders routine.
It’s time to take a step forward into the past.
Steam up the windows at the new Racecourse Drive-In at Royal Randwick.
Enjoy classics like Breakfast at Tiffany’s and The Blues Brothers or latest releases including Robin Hood and Date Night from the comfort of your very own Aston Martin. (Okay. Make that a VW Golf.)
The season runs from July to September and at $49 per car (up to 5 people) it’s a cheap night out for you and your lady (and the mates who pile into the back-seat).
