As any Sydney local will agree, at some point we’ve all lamented the demise of our beloved Oxford St as much-loved stores have given in to the pressure of sky-high rents and stiff competition from that shopping centre up the road. But times are changing as fabulous newcomers find their way back onto the strip.
Introducing Blow, a super-cool Paddington hair salon that quietly opened last week. No cuts, no colours, no fuss – just economical, speedy blow-dries from their international team hailing from Europe. Blow bars and salons are all the rage in other international cities, so it was only a matter of time before Sydney caught on to the trend.
The owners have given the salon a French boudoir feel with lofty high ceilings, black framed mirrors, rich fabrics and chandeliers. After an hour at Blow you’ll step out feeling glamorous and ready to conquer the world and at $40 per visit, they know they’ll have you hooked.
