Low-fi – for the creative kind

Low Fi CollectiveWith Sydney’s bar scene changing so rapidly, it’s hard to keep up with the newest and trendiest bars to frequent. If you’re looking for one of the “it” bars right now with a point of difference, you’ll want to check out Low-Fi.

This cliquey new bar in Taylor Square is right above Kinselas, and yes, expect to walk past a few times before you find it. Its retro and mismatched interior is effortlessly cool. From a tricycle hanging from the ceiling to tractor seat stools, the décor gives off a strong sense of artistic flair.

But the trump card of this bar, is the “Low-Fi Collective”, an arts project that showcases the best of Australia’s creative community in it’s very own gallery space above the bar.

It’s open every Thursday night where you can check out works from designers, photographers and artists alike. So if you have a flair for the creative, it’s the perfect place for a little inspiration, a catch up with some friends and, of course, a delicious cocktail.
